Another Prayer Request

OK—I’ve been fighting this cold, flu, whatever thing since about last Friday.  I actually left the office yesterday at around 11:00 and came home…I could not function and Clayton, my accountability partner told me, “dude—you can have a great message for Sunday…but if the messenger isn’t ready then you will be in trouble.”

So I rested yesterday and last night I felt great.  In fact, Lucretia and I went out to supper at the Cracker Barrel and afterwards we stopped by the Fusebox, our student ministry facility, and just said hi!

I went to bed feeling pretty good and looking forward to my four mile run…uh…change of plans.
I woke up at 1:45 with an earache from the pits of Hades!  I haven’t had an earache since I was like 5 years old.  I thought it might be a small aggravation and that it would go away…but it just kept hurting.

I finally woke Lucretia up and sought medical advice.  :-)  She told me that sometimes when congestion is breaking up that it can get caught up behind the ear, causing it to hurt.  Well—I would say it’s there!!!

I did manage to go back to sleep somewhere around 4am…and my ear had actually stopped hurting; however, I woke back up at 5:00 and it felt like my ear was about to come off!

Saying all of that to say this—please pray for my health!  I REALLY want to be well…I hate being sick…and I think if this ear thing would go away that I would feel great!!!
