A Letter to NewSpring Church

Hello NewSpring!

This past Sunday at NewSpring was truly amazing! I (Shane Duffey) loved Brad Cooper’s message and how he reminded us that our purpose in this life is to point to God’s glory. His use of big foam ‘#1’ fingers is something I will never forget. I was challenged as he pointed out the fact that each of us spend every part of our day pointing to someone or something’s glory and I was encouraged by the truth of I Corinthians 10:31 that no matter what we’re doing, it can be done in a way that points to God’s glory. He is the only one who has really earned it and He is the only one that really deserves it.

Over the last five weeks of our Weird series we have heard great messages from Perry, Dan Lian, Brad Cooper and Clayton King, if you have missed any of them please check out our series page here or download all the messages on iTunes. That being said, DO NOT miss this week as we continue Weird. We will experience something that we never have before at NewSpring – I’m not going to tell you what, you’ll just have to be here to see it - so make your plans to be at one of our campus locations this Sunday.

When Perry announced his sabbatical, he told us that the church was not going to slow down and that we would continue to see God do amazing things. Well, Perry was right! Since the beginning of Perry’s sabbatical we have seen 617 people decide to commit their lives to following Jesus! THAT IS AMAZING… and… IT NEVER GETS OLD!
