Eight Things I’m Excited About October 14, 2009

Hey NewSpring…just wanted to give a quick update on some things that are getting ready to take place around here…I’m excited about…

#1 – Our band is going to do a LIVE CD RECORDING on Friday, October 30th at 7:00 here at our Anderson campus! It’s going to be open to anyone who wants to come…no tickets or anything…first come, first serve.  It is our goal to NOT let it be just a recording for our CD…but a WORSHIP EXPERIENCE that won’t be forgotten!  SERIOUSLY…you should make plans to be here…EARLY!  (No childcare…if you have a kid and want to bring them…bring them.  If not, hire a sitter!)

#2 – Our mission trip this Saturday that I talked about in this post. People are stepping up and saying, “YES!”  We can’t ask God for opportunities to serve Him if we aren’t willing to jump on the ones He so clearly puts in front of us!  We had two buses chartered to take a crew down…but the response has been so great it looks like we are going to have to get a third!!!  Let us know ASAP if you want to go – hello@newspring.cc

#3 – THIS SUNDAY (DUH!) as we answer the question, “What happens to you when you die?”  Everyone loves studying about THE end times…but what about OUR end times?

#4 – Lucretia’s pregnant!

#5 – The rumors that will be started because of what I wrote above…because, she’s not really pregnant…I am just curious as to how many people stopped reading and began calling and emailing “the news” without actually finishing the blog post!  :-)

#6 – The 10th anniversary in the BILO Center…ONE church service, 15,000 people…it’s going to be amazing!

#7 – The series, “Don’t Get Married Until…” that will begin on Sunday, November 1st.

#8 – Unleash sign ups are WAY ahead of last year…SO looking forward to what God is going to do!!!
