Ten Questions About Australia November 3, 2008

Here are a few questions that have been asked of me about our trip…

#1 – How was the flight?

LONG!!!

#2 – What did you do on the flight?

Prayed that God would help the plane to speed up!!!

#3 – Did you miss your daughter?

Are you really so stupid as to even think you need to ask that question?

#4 – Did you see a kangeroo?

Nope, but I ate one!!!

#5 – Are you serious?

Nope, just wanted to make some of you say, “AHHHH” out loud!

#6 – What was the coolest part of the trip?

Having Lucretia with me so that we were able to experience this together!

#7 – Are you tired?

YES!  WOW…I spoke six times (four seperate messages) in a time period of around 28 hours!  AND…the day after all that was over I hopped on a plane to come back home!!!

#8 – Did you do any swimming?

Nope!  Someone told me that Australia was the #1 place that a person is most likely to get attacked by a shark…my big butt didn’t even really get that close to the ocean!

#9 – Do they have Outback restaurants in Australia?

Actually they do…but I didn’t eat at one.

#10 – What is the one thing you would say that God definitely spoke into your heart while on this trip?

The Great Commission is NOT OPTIONAL!  There are SO MANY PEOPLE in this world that do not know Jesus…and HIS CHURCH (in most cases) doesn’t seem to care!  We’ve got to be more intentional about reaching people for Christ…and amp up our level of urgency as well!!!
