Sunday Night Reflections June 8, 2008

Here are a few thoughts before going to bed…

• Seriously, I can’t remember the last time I was that intense for all four messages.  I want to be dangerous!
• The 11:15 service was incredible–we prayed for Mike during the invitation–he was diagnosed with a brain tumor this past week (and was STILL volunteering today!)
• We literally laid hands on him and prayed for God to heal him…and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house.  WOW!
• For the record…I believe God still does “that stuff!”
• NewSpring–hold on to your fork…there’s something sweeter than hasn’t been brought to the table yet–the best is yet to come.
• Lee & the band did an INCREDIBLE job today with the music–”Dangerous” by Decemberadio was off the hook…and “Not to us” with the list of all the churches involved messed me up all four services.
• Around 1,400 churches…pushing probably close to ONE MILLION PEOPLE…all focused on the same series, THAT has NEVER happened in the history of the WORLD!  What’s next?
• Today we prayed for other churches in our community BY NAME…I want us to be a champion and cheerleader of other churches…we’re on the same team.  When a person comes to Christ–no matter what church they are in–HEAVEN rejoices…and so should we.
• Next week’s message is going to be “off the chain,” can’t wait!
• I am serious…I don’t like cats…never will.  And no, Charisse is NOT allowed to have one–EVER!
• Charisse began giving me hugs last week–this week she began giving me kisses.  I have turned control of the finances over to Lucretia!!!

And finally…for those who emailed in about the coaching network last week…you should have received some information from Lindsay by now.  If for some reason you haven’t then hold on…I will be doing an entire post on the network either Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.  I can’t wait for this thing to get rolling…it’s going to be awesome!
