Some Things You Might Not Know About Me… March 14, 2008

Here are a few random facts about me that might cause you to look at me differently! :-)

#7 – I don’t like Elvis movies! I know that is DANGEROUS to say here in the South…but folks, let’s be honest–they’re horrible.

#6 – I cried when I watched the Fox & the Hound for the first time. Seriously…it was sad at the end when the fox and the hound dog couldn’t be friends anymore. AND…I think I was eight…SO BACK OFF!!!

#5 – I once went to a Boy George/Culture Club concert! I have no excuse for this…and I sincerely apologize. The ONE redeeming quality is that the ticket WAS free!

#4 – My first dog’s name was Vader! I was/am a Star Wars nut…and I thought Vadar would just be the coolest name ever! (I was right…it was flippin’ awesome!)

#3 – I used to bump my head on a pillow to go to sleep. I have a lot of nervous energy and it helped to calm me down. It stopped when I got married. YES…I did it that long! (Lucretia thought it might be best if I did not do that!)

#2 – I put my ice cream in the microwave – I like soft serve ice cream, thus one of the MAIN reasons for having a microwave.

#1 – At my first church where I was the youth pastor I thought it would be a wonderful idea to have a food fight in the graveyard. Uh…yeah…that didn’t quite go over so well!!! When you throw sardines on the tombstone of Deacon Smiths mama–the conversation that follows just isn’t edifying!
