My Bible Journey AND A Reminder

First of all–we will be back on our NORMAL schedule next Sunday

  • AM Services at 9:15 & 11:15
  • PM Services at 5:00 & 6:45

One more thing and then on to my Bible journey…we have been doing an extended time of worship during the 6:45 services and I would say that the past few weeks have been especially incredible. Lee and the band continue to allow God to use them to lead us in amazing ways…if you get a chance you really need to try and join us for a 6:45 service sometime!  (AND…if you do then you can sleep in on Sunday morning!)
Now…the Bible journey continues…

  • Colossians 1:6 - I seems that Paul says here that the Gospel was GROWING all over the world–it should be today as well. (Uh, that means it needs to go “out of the house!”)
  • Colossians 1:9 - This prayer is one that I’ve been praying for years!
  • Colossians 1:11 - I do not have to live this life on my own–He strengthens me.
  • Colossians 1:13 - My chains are gone!!!
  • Colossians 1:18 - HE is the HEAD of the church!
  • Colossians 1:28-29 - I am called to proclaim Christ, and the world doesn’t need “all I’ve got,” but rather all He desires to give through me!
  • Colossians 2:6-7 - Having a thankful heart and attitude is KEY in maintaining a walk with God.
  • Colossians 2:13 - I have NEVER forgotten what Jesus has done for me!
  • Colossians 3:1-2 - At times I struggle to set my mind on things above…just being honest.
  • Colossians 3:16 - I need to allow the Word of God to dwell in me richly…for that is essential in me becoming a more devoted follower of Him.
  • Colossians 3:18 - I never want to make this verse something that Lucretia hates to read–I want to lead my family well.
  • Colossians 3:19 - HOW I treat and speak to ‘Cretia really does matter to God!
  • Colossians 3:21 - HOW I raise and treat Charisse really does matter to God!
  • Colossians 4:2 - Yet another challenge to be thankful.
  • Colossians 4:3-4 - This is my prayer, that the Lord will continue to open doors…and that when He does I will speak His message clearly.
  • Colossians 4:17 - I have always found this next to last verse fascinating, why did Paul end this way? I think it was because he desperately wanted Archippus that finishing well was/is essential and should be the goal of every minister!
