My Bible Journey December 3, 2007

The journey continues…

• Luke 8:25 – I have NO IDEA how awesome and in control Jesus is!!!
• Luke 9:1-6 – The call of Jesus is to go and tell–NOT sit and observe.
• Luke 10:2 – If Jesus said the harvest is plentiful…THEN there’s much work to be done.
• Luke 10:24 – This verse causes me to just sit in awe AND thanksgiving of what the Lord is allowing me to be a part of.
• Luke 11:53-54 – These people have always been around!!!
• Luke 12:22-25 – Even though I KNOW He said this…at times I tend to focus on the size of my problem rather than the size of my God!!!
• Luke 14:1-6 – Jesus continually healed on the Sabbath, provoking the Pharisees…I just love that!
• Luke 16:10-13 – I used to say that if I had more money that I would begin tithing/being generous, and God rebuked me & used this passage to show me that if I am not faithful and obedient with what I’ve got then there is no way I would ever be faithful with more!!!
• Luke 17:5 – I pray this prayer often!!!
• Luke 18:1-8 – I should never give up!
• Luke 18:27 – Dream BIG!!!
• Luke 21:1-4 – What and how people give really does matter to God.
• Luke 22:42 – In m opinion, THIS was one of the most powerful moments in the history of the universe!
• Luke 24:45 – This is OFTEN my prayer for me!
