Sunday Night Reflections–Thank You

I am sitting on my couch right now with Lucretia watching “Terminator 3″–I’ve never seen this movie.  I will say this…the “bad” terminator in this flick is a woman…and, well–she is sort of freaking me out right now!

I have to say this…I am tired…but it is a good tired.  We began our fourth service today…we added it at 4:15, which was a shot in the dark…but we knew we HAD to do something because we had pretty much filled up three services.

How did it go…here are the numbers…

• 9:15 = 2,111
• 11:15 = 2,310
• 4:15 = 1,273
• 6:00 = 1,556
• Total = 7,250

To those who came to 4:15 & 6:00…a HUGE THANK YOU!  (And yes, thank you to those who came in the AM as well!)  What is so cool is that, because over 1,200 people came at 4:15–that means there was room in the other services for people to have a parking place, a seat…and room in the nursery for their kids.  (There is STILL room in the 4:15 service…be sure to CHECK IT OUT!!!)

I just want to say this–thank you again for those who were willing to do whatever it takes to allow NewSpring to grow.  I understand that it is nearly impossible for some people to come in the evening…but for those who made the adjustments–WOW…thanks!!!!

Let me say this…this is JUST the beginning of what God is getting ready to do!!!  We are completely prepared to go to six services when we need to…and WHEN we fill those up–we are ready to do whatever else it takes to reach this community.
To those who might be tempted to e-mail in and say we are all about the numbers–SAVE IT!  Numbers represent people–people represent souls…both souls and people matter to God…and from what I have discovered the ONLY people that say that numbers do not matter are the people/churches that are not growing/are NOT reaching people!!!

As long as I live I am going to have a passion to see lost people get found and found people get grown up–we are seeing it…we are going to see more of it…and I CAN’T WAIT!!!
