Think Big! November 17, 2006
I am speaking on this in a few weeks…but the Bible says in Ephesians 3:20-21 that God is ABLE to do so much more than all we can ask or imagine.
SO…the question often gets asked, “If God is so big and wants to do so much for this world then why isn’t more taking place?”
I think the problem isn’t with God…it’s with His church…and it’s because we just don’t know how to think big anymore.
Come on…don’t even throw the “numbers do not matter” argument at me…that’s weak, VERY WEAK! If you want to use that line of irrational thought then you are basically saying that in America the population is INCREASING and that church attendance is DECREASING…and that GOD ISN’T CONCERNED!!! (Both of these are facts–do the research!)
MAYBE it’s time the church took our head out of our rear ends and faced reality–GOD CARES ABOUT THE CHURCH REACHING PEOPLE!!!
AND…there ARE people to be reached! Right now there are more people living in America…heck, in the world, than ever before–and yet there are still some churches who seek to justify their disobedience to the Great Commission by saying they simply want “intimate community” and “real fellowship” and “deep teaching,” and, even though there is a community of people “out there” that are hell bound–well–that’s ok–let them go there…because reaching them will make “us” uncomfortable!
News flash…I am a big thinker. I decided several years ago that God is NOT in a box! His dreams are bigger than our dreams…His thoughts are higher than our thoughts…AND if the church is HIS BRIDE then HE DOES NOT WANT HER IN SOME BACK ROOM, HIDING, ASHAMED OF HIM…HE WANTS HER ON DISPLAY…SHOWING THE WORLD TRUE BEAUTY AND PASSION!!!
I am sure some of you are rolling your eyes at this point & saying that I am “just another mega church pastor” who is all about the numbers. I have said it hundreds of times…every number represents a person…every person matters to God…and we will continue to reach people here at NewSpring because, to be honest–after what Jesus Christ has done for me–I WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW…I WANT EVERYONE to have the same experience that I had…it is NOT for me to remain silent about it & hope “those people out there get it one day…”, it is for me & our church to SHARE!!!
Our church will continue to think big…and I refuse to even entertain arguments from people who would simply dismiss us as the mega church monster and call us unsuccessful because we are growing. STOP…how stupid is that thought pattern? If a business grows…attracts more customers…then it is considered successful. If a team has way more wins than losses–it is successful. BUT…for some reason…if a church reaches people, lives are changed…and it grows…to SOME backwards, narrow minded, self focused people–that is wrong!!!
I don’t get it!
We have a God that is in the people business…and so the church should be as well. We have a God that is able to do so much more than we could ask or imagine…and so I think the church should STOP being concerned with adding 3% a year and BEGIN PASSIONATELY LOVING PEOPLE AND REACHING THE COMMUNITY THAT THEY EXIST IN FOR JESUS!!!
For you NewSpringer’s–trust me–what is coming our way is HUGE. I will be sharing the next steps I feel that God is leading us to take on Sunday, December 3rd. I am so pumped about it that I can’t even sleep!!! GOD IS NOT FINISHED HERE YET…HE IS JUST GETTING STARTED! Many of the people that will be reached are YOUR family members…YOUR friends…and THIS CHURCH CARES ABOUT THEM!!! I CARE ABOUT THEM!!! I WANT TO SEE AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE MEET JESUS!!!
We will continue to think big because we have a God who can do more than a couple of car washes and hot dog suppers every year!!! We have a God who can bring the dead back to life–walk on water–turn water into wine–heal people–part the Red Sea–and if He did it “then” He can still do it today!!!
The best is yet to come–think big!
Sharing The Love… November 16, 2006
I have been reading a ton of stuff in blog world lately that I would love to share with you guys.
First of all, before I begin…men, please stop crying about yesterday’s post. I will make a list for the ladies in a week or two…Lucretia and I talked about “the ladies list” last night over a romantic meal at Outback! :-) Yes…we had the chocolate thunder from down under…I think it is a SIN not to get it!!!
Here goes…
Lee McDee, the most incredible worship leader on the planet, had a post that rocked my world. (Go to his site and then scroll down to “Testing 1,2,3.” I am a moron and can’t figure out how to single out this post! One of the reasons I love Lee so much is because, besides being a great worship leader–this guy is GOING after God…he loves Jesus…and you can tell when you hang out with him.
While looking over Tony Morgan’s website I began to look through some of his older posts…THIS POST is one of the funniest things I have ever read in my life…it is entitled “Pizza and Sex.”
Also–Tony has this post on leadership that is a must read.
Gary Lamb is making a wish and checking it twice here. (By the way…why are all the radio stations playing flippin’ Christmas music…can’t they at least wait until after Thanksgiving?!!!) Gary…I hope this happens my friend…we would love to come to your state and put something on you guys that you would never forget. BUT first you have to beat Tech!!! We DID!!!
Mark Batterson had this post on leadership–A MUST READ!!!
I thought about you Bob when I read this...dude…I am hoping this works!!! (And I loved your honesty in this post--dude…pastors that are REAL pump me up…thanks for not being fake!)
That’s about it–oh yeah…SUNDAY is going to be AWESOME!!! Ladies…be here…and if you have been thinking about inviting someone to church but for some reason haven’t–THIS IS THE WEEKEND TO DO IT!!! I promise…the message the team has put together is going to connect in an amazing way…and this week in one of the services something is going to happen that has NEVER taken place at NewSpring before!!!
Five Things A Single Dude NEEDS To Know… November 15, 2006
OK guys…here we go…I’ve been wanting to do this one for a long time. Please keep in mind that I made TONS of mistakes as a single dude…so these lessons are NOT all as a result of my success stories. BUT…I did manage to do some things right…and I have a red hot wife to prove it. (Thank You Jesus!!!)
#1 – If You Are Interested In A Girl…YOU Need To Talk To HER.
The Bible says in Proverbs 18:22 that he who FINDS a wife finds what is good (AMEN!) Men…it is up to you to FIND a wife…that means YOU are to be the one to initiate things…if you want to be the leader IN the relationship then you should take steps to be the leader at the beginning of the relationship!
This means, if you are interested in a girl…you talk to her!!! You don’t call HER friends and ask them to drop hints for you…unless you are a pathetic wimp. You don’t get YOUR friends to drop hints to her friends. BE A MAN! If you want to ask her out…ASK HER OUT! Trust me…her friends don’t want to talk to you about it anymore…and if you keep bothering them they are going to tell HER to stay away from you!
I did this right…when I finally decided that I was interested in Lucretia I told a couple of buddies so they could pray for me…and then I had a conversation with her and was completely honest and transparent about the way that I felt. She said she would “pray about it” and that she was “not saying no,” which was NOT very encouraging. BUT…I found out later that she always told her friends that if a guy was interested in her then she expected him to talk to her…NOT anyone else.
#2 – When You Talk With Her–BE HONEST & DON’T PLAY GAMES!!!
One of a man’s top fears is rejection. SO…in order to stay away from this pain and hurt he will not come out and say he is interested in a girl…he won’t say, “I would like to take you out for dinner.” Nope–he plays games…drops hints…all the while hoping that the young lady will pick up on his pathetic attempts to “woo her” and then begin to pursue him.
Dude–stop it, right now!!! If you are interested in a young lady–tell her. Just come out and say it. If you are not sure…but you think you would like to get to know her better…then tell her, “Hey, I would like to get to know you a little better…can we have some supper?”
DO NOT SAY, “Hey…uh…well…maybe, you know, if you like food…uh, do you like food,” hoping that she will say, “Yes, take me to get some.”
Ladies want a man that can be honest…and if you can’t be honest with her from the beginning then how in the world will you ever convince her to trust you in the future?
One more thing…another reason that dude play games is so that they can fuel their pathetically weak male ego…they string girls along…they are not interested–but do want someone to make out with on the weekends. To be honest–I want to punch guys like this in the nose. (And if you are ANY sort of man…and you have a daughter…and a dude does that to her…you want to punch him as well–no matter “how godly” you are!!!) :-)
#3 – On The Date–Be Creative
Ladies–please…if a guy ever takes you to supper and then a movie ON THE FIRST DATE…DROP HIM like a bad habit. Trust me…this relationship has started off on the wrong foot…and here is why…
When you go to a movie on the first date you learn NOTHING about one another…there is NO interaction, no conversation…and so when you get home one person will lie to the other one and say they had a nice time…when they really didn’t because time and money were spent on getting to know all about the lives of the fictional character on the screen.
Guys–think enough about her to PLAN the date…and when you PLAN…PLAN it well! (This is where you CAN get advice from her friends.) When you pick her up–don’t ask her where she would like to go eat…HAVE IT PLANNED. (There should be a conversation somewhere about particular restaurants that are liked and are not liked.)
I know one dude that took a young lady to eat and then they went to Wal Mart where he said, “Let’s get a buggy–go through and pick out five things that we identify with…and then meet back here and write them down…and then go somewhere and talk about them.” DING DING DING–we have a WINNER!!!
(Note: Movies are NOT a bad date idea…they are just a bad first or second date idea!!!)
#4 – On The Date–Be A Gentleman
Dude–you have GOT to treat her like a lady. Walk her to her car door and open it for her. I have had guys argue with me & say, “My dad doesn’t open the door for my mom.” I always reply, “Well…maybe your dad is an insensitive jerk!” Just a thought.
(Ladies…if he does not open the door…just stand outside of his car–he will get the hint. If he doesn’t find you valuable enough to open the door for you…trust me, it’s going to go downhill.)
Guys–a lady wants to feel special…like someone really wants to take care of her…and trust me, the little things matter…so open her car door.
Oh yeah, one more thing…when you come to her house to pick her up…cut your car off, walk up to the door, and ask for her like a man. If you pull up in her driveway and call her from your cell phone–you are a loser. If you pull up in her driveway and honk your car horn…you are REALLY a loser.
(A dude came to pick up my sister once a blew the horn…she got up to leave & my dad told her to sit down. The guy outside then began to hold down on the horn…my dad, who had drank a beer or twelve, got up, walked outside, opened his car door and hit him in the nose, knocking him across the car. He said he was going to go home and tell his father…to which my father proceeded to invite him to do so, telling him that he would be glad to give his father the same treatment. The dude left & came back an hour later cleaned up and apologized for the way he had treated my sister.) I LOVE TELLING THAT STORY!!! :-)
#5 – If She Says “NO,” That Means NO!
Guys–if you ask a girl out on a date & she tell you no–back off…stay away…you can be her friend but do NOT begin to try to put pressure on her…this freaks her out.
I have had so many single dudes tell me, “But Perry, you talk about how you pursued Lucretia for nearly two years before she even went out with you.”
YEP–that is true…but I was her friend and not a freaky stalker. During my two year friendship with Lucretia we maybe had five conversations about the possibility of us dating one day…and she NEVER told me NO or to never bring the conversation up again. We were friends…we hung out…with NO strings attached. She never told me to back off.
If a young lady tells you no and you continue to pursue–dude–you are NOT being romantic…you are being stupid. Let it GO!!!
That’s about it for now–just curious–what are some things a single lady needs to know? (I will post about this–but remember–this Sunday is the message for the women at NewSpring…the men came out in full force…ladies…don’t miss this!!!)
Should The Mega Church Be Shut Down? November 14, 2006
The Ted Haggard story has ROCKED the Christian community…and some have used this mans fall to speak against the evils of the mega church…they say that if one mega church pastor is doing it then we all must be doing it; therefore, the mega church should be shut down, dissolved…broken into hundreds of smaller churches–that way IF something like this should ever happen again it would not govern that much attention.
There is a Greek word that describes this ideology: STUPID!
Let me break it down the way I see it…which may not be the way you see it…and that is fine–that is why I have my blog and you have yours. (The difference is that…if you hate me…I don’t read your blog–but you read mine everyday! If you would show as much passion for the lost as you do arguing with me…it’s possible you could make a difference in the world!) :-)
The problem that Haggard faced had nothing to do with the fact that he was a mega church pastor…his problem was a problem that ALL of us deal with–it’s called sin…and from what I have seen in the 16 years I have been involved in ministry–SIN DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE! It hits all types of people–AND pastors!
To be honest…I have seen WAY more “small church” pastors fall…EVERY pastor faces temptation…EVERY one of us…and it has nothing to do with the size of our church–it has to do with the fact that the devil and his demons (yes, I believe in those) are at work, trying their best to destroy the kingdom of God…and pastors and church leaders have always been a primary target. (I can’t wait to see Jesus kick his butt and throw him into hell!!!)
So…a pastor fell…guess what–they fall every single day!!! Should that cause us to run and hide? Seriously, where in the world did we ever develop this idea that, because one mega church pastor falls, that we should shut the whole thing down and run like a bunch of cowards? People–the mega church is not evil–satan is evil…it’s not the church that brings about sin…it’s the evil one…and we can RUN from him…that’s exactly what he wants!!!! We must FIGHT…be strong…be alert…and, when he tempts us, tell him to go to hell!!! (Yes, I tell satan to go to hell…get over it!)
I saw an article on the net the other night that actually had the nerve to accuse all mega church pastors of what Haggard had done. The writer made the claim that, “they all are up to something…I just know it!”
STUPID!!! STUPID!!!! STUPID!!!
Yes, I said STUPID…and here is why…I know a lot of these “mega church pastors”, they are REAL men, who have REAL families, they REALLY do LOVE JESUS, they REALLY HATE SIN, they REALLY want to see more and more people COME TO CHRIST…AND they are SERIOUS about their commitment to HIM!!! YES…all of us will be tempted…and any of us could fall…but that does not mean that we flippin’ run!!!
What if our military operated by that philosophy? They would land on the beach–storm the city…love the thrill of accomplishment…UNTIL one man was shot…and then as soon as that happened all soldiers were told, “It’s over–get back on the boat–we are going home.” Uh…yeah…that would not work…and it DOES not work for the church either.
The idea of breaking the “mega church” into smaller churches…once again, stupid. Let me ask this question–who do you think came up with the idea to keep God’s work small, quiet, and out of the way…was it God…or satan? It had to be one of them…come on now…everyone…think really hard!!!
A simple student of Scripture can discover that God desires for things to be fruitful and multiply…the church in the book of Acts was a MEGA CHURCH!!! (From 120 to 3,000 in one day IS growth…and if you will look in Acts 2…they GREW daily…and no one got mad about it!!!)
Here is the deal here at NewSpring Church. My name is Perry Noble…I am the pastor. I am not perfect; in fact, I get things wrong WAY more than I get things right. BUT…I have no secret section of my life that “no one knows about.” I am not bragging about this…I am saying that I have taken certain steps to make sure this does not happen…such as…
- I do not travel alone
- I am never alone with a female
- I do not sign checks…nor do I have access to our bank accounts
- I have people in my life that can ask me anything about any area of my life
- I have an accountability partner that I openly discuss ANY and ALL problems, temptations, and victories with.
- I have developed a fear of God that is growing daily.
Does this mean I will never fall? Probably not–but it does mean I am less likely to make a mistake than those who have no safeguards in their life.
NewSpring church is a mega church…not because of what we have done…but because of what God has done. AND…we are not shutting down because of a causality in the Christian community…in fact, we haven’t even started yet. There are more lost people that need to get found…and more found people that need to get grown up…and we won’t let up or shut up until Jesus calls us up. (I have no idea when that is going to take place…and honestly…I don’t care!!! STOP being consumed with being “Left Behind!”)
To all pastors out there–STAY THE COURSE!!! DON’T LET stupid people with small minds convince you that it’s over–what we do is WORTH IT…JESUS IS WORTH IT…HIS CHURCH IS WORTH IT! Guard yourself and GET ON with WHO God has called you to be and WHAT God has called you to do…and let’s kick the crap out of satan and see God’s Kingdom FORCEFULLY advanced!!! YEAH!!!!
Got to go charge hell with a water pistol now… :-)
Sunday Night Reflections November 12, 2006
WOW!
I have a confession…I am overwhelmed AND amazed at what God is doing here at NewSpring Church.
We had a total of 8,055 people at church today (over 1,400 were children!!!) Folks–STOP and think about this just for a second…in January we were averaging around 4,000 people…and this week we had over 8,000. Basically our church has doubled in less than a year…and we are in Anderson, SC.
NOW…keep in mind that this would be incredible in Atlanta or Dallas or LA…but…this is ANDERSON! What am I trying to say? Simple–GOD IS MAJORLY involved in what is going on here…this type of growth DOES NOT HAPPEN unless HE is at work…and the fact that HE is working is undeniable. Sure…there are some that may not like what is going on (satan for example), but God’s work cannot be disputed.
(This series has brought about an incredible response…we have received more e-mails and phone calls at our church than ever before. If you would like to listen to this weeks message about being a MAN…or any other message…you can download them here.)
We have been getting a lot of calls and e-mails lately asking us what we are doing to facilitate this type of growth. Basically we are doing what we’ve always done…I will list it out…
#1 – We Talk About Jesus–A LOT!!!
I have heard in the church planting world that, if a church is going to grow, the subject of Jesus should only be brought up every once in a while.
WRONG!
You see…the church…the ministries…the facilities…EVERYTHING is all about Jesus. If we don’t have Him–as Paul said in I Corinthians 15…our faith is useless.
Today I challenged the men to become more like Jesus…and I painted the picture of Him that Scripture paints. Too many of us were brought up in a church where the men were weak and the only picture of Jesus we ever saw was some weak pathetic looking dude who wore a dress, carried a lamb, and cried a lot.
THAT’S NOT THE JESUS OF THE BIBLE!!! He was a warrior–a king…and if we, as men, sought to be more like Him our lives and our families would be much better off.
#2 – Speaking Of The Bible–We Teach Straight From Scripture.
Once again…I heard in church planting world when I first got started that you basically had to do some sort of feel good talk and then read a verse at the end of your message to prove a point.
WRONG AGAIN!
It’s quite simple–I believe in Scripture…and I believe it is all true…from Genesis to the maps in the back! And, if you will take a look at the churches nationwide that are experiencing growth…the talk about Jesus a lot…AND preach from Scripture.
One of the rumors about our church in this community used to be that we don’t teach the Bible. (I even heard once that we would confiscate Bibles at the door and not allow them in!!!) Someone who would say something along these lines is merely showing their stupidity in that they are talking about something that they have not taken the time to investigate…because if they did they would see that we teach & preach from Scripture just as much as any other church on the planet.
#3 – We Are Creative
I have done several posts on this…so I will not belabor this point…I just want to say that I believe that we do not serve a boring God; therefore, we should not attend a boring church.
People have accused us of being “too entertaining.” I would MUCH rather be accused of being “too entertaining” than “too boring!!!”
Besides–where in the world did we ever get the idea that entertainment = evil? We want the movies, television shows and sporting events to be entertaining and then want church to be boring?!?!? If that is the case then maybe we need a bigger view of God…HE is ANYTHING but boring…and He created this world for us to enjoy!
(You don’t think God is fun & entertaining? This is the God who created the Grand Canyon. This is the God who designed the Rocky Mountains. This is the God that created SEX!!! YEAH!!! Nope, He’s not boring!!!)
SO…can a church preach about Jesus…use Scripture…and be creative all at the same time. I would say yes…because we are doing it. NO–we are NOT perfect…but we are trying our best to lift up the name of Jesus and make Him famous all over the Upstate…and eventually the world!!!
#4 – We CARE About Reaching Kids!!! (I have done several posts on this–here is one, this one was fun, and this is one I did this past summer.)
On a personal note–let me say this…I am overwhelmed…in a good way…but still–keep in mind that this is the largest church I have ever attended and the only church I have ever pastored. I am not an expert…I am a rookie!!! And I can honestly say that I am MORE DESPERATE to hear the voice of God than EVER BEFORE IN MY LIFE!
Reality is this…I can’t do this…I am not smart enough to figure this thing out. We didn’t get where we are today because Perry Noble is a really smart guy…GOD KNOWS that’s not the reason…we got here because God wanted to do something at a place and among some people that, when people from the outside looked at us, they said, “Now that HAS to be GOD…because the guy who is leading them is an idiot!!!” :-)
I am more in love with Jesus than I have ever been…and NewSpring…I say this all the time…but THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING. GOD HASN’T EVEN BEGAN TO SCRATCH THE SURFACE OF WHAT HE WANTS TO DO!!! There are too many people within a driving distance of our church that are going to spend eternity in hell…and I am NOT comfortable with that…so let’s continue to INVITE as many people as we can…and do all we can to make the name of Jesus famous.
One more thing…here is a list of blog posts that are coming this week…
- Advice to single dudes when it comes to asking a girl out/dating a girl
- Why Jesus could probably never be a pastor in most churches
- With all of the attention given to mega-church pastors falling…should the mega-church dissolve?
- AND–this week there will be an extra mp3 on our website…I am doing an all staff meeting tomorrow and the subject I am dealing with is something that I believe every church leader in the country needs to take a listen to…more information on this later.
THANK YOU JESUS CHRIST FOR ALL YOU ARE DOING IN OUR CHURCH! TO YOUR NAME BE ALL HONOR AND GLORY AND PRAISE…and thank You for using a screw up like me…for finding me…gifting me…changing me…and using me…do what You have done in my life to THOUSANDS of others…in Jesus name, AMEN!
Here Comes The Weekend… November 10, 2006
I am excited about this weekend…lots of good stuff happening…
Tonight Lucretia and I will go out to eat…not sure where. Usually we hit the Doo Dah Day Cafe and then go get ice cream. BUT…Lucretia has informed me that since it is getting colder that she is not too excited about eating ice cream…but she also said that she will go with me while I eat ice cream–yet another reason that she is a godly woman!!!
Tomorrow we will go to the Clemson game with some friends. YES–I am still going to the game after last weeks loss. I have gone to every home game this season and tomorrow will be no exception. Look for me…I will once again be wearing orange.
Sunday will be “Man Sunday” at NewSpring. We will be looking at the Bible to see what it has to say about Biblical manhood. The world has tried to define manhood…and they keep getting it wrong. Our goal is that, after Sunday’s service, the men (and women) will know and understand what a man should be.
Don’t forget to invite people this Sunday…I promise…it will be both encouraging AND challenging. This message (this ENTIRE SERIES) has both challenged and convicted me!! If you think you have a hard time listening to the message…keep in mind that I have been working on that message for a month or two…and I have preached it between five and ten times before I ever walk on stage on Sunday!!! :-)
I love the weekend!!!
Lord of the Rings Update November 9, 2006
I received a letter yesterday that made my day…a lady had written that she had basically decided to leave her husband because there was absolutely no joy in their marriage. BUT…for some reason she decided to come to NewSpring on the first Sunday of our Lord of the Rings series…and everything changed!!!
I nearly wept as I read that, over the past three weeks she has developed a hope that had not been there in years. She said that for the first time in a long time that she is excited about her marriage…and that she knows everything is going to be ok.
THAT TYPE OF THING IS EXACTLY WHAT WE’VE BEEN PRAYING FOR!!! Our passion has never been to do a “fun series”–but to see lives changed!!!
It was our passion when we started this series to see marriages saved and transformed. Our reasoning was that if Jesus can come back from the dead…and He brings dead things back to life…that He can also bring marriage that are dead to a place where they are FULL of LIFE.
It was also our passion to teach singles to have a high view of marriage…and to establish standards in their dating life. Singles…trust me…if you have no standards in who you date…then it will eventually show!!! (Translation…you won’t be full of joy regarding who you married…you will full of regret in regards to who you “wound up with!”)
Please keep in mind that we were very strategic about the subjects that we felt needed to be covered. I personally studied (and stressed) over these messages more than any relationship series we have ever done. We wanted to be practical…to meet people where they are…and then show them how to get to where they need to be using Scripture–NOT the latest jargon from talk show hosts who talk about a lot of things but are experts on nothing.
So far we have covered…
- An overview on what God thinks about marriage. (Here we hit the subject of homosexuality, divorce, and a few other things that all people agree on and cause no controversy whatsoever. :-)
- God’s view on sex. (This is one of the most fun messages we have ever constructed!)
- How to have an affair. (The e-mail responses on this one were WAY more than we anticipated.)
You can download any of the messages here…for free. :-)
And this week…I will be challenging the men!!! Now–several things you need to understand…
#1 – Men, I am not going to be talking down to you. I am a man…and the things I am talking about this weekend are the lessons that I am trying to LEARN…I do not have it all together…but I want to share so bad with each one of you what God is teaching me.
#2 – If you are a woman…you do need to be here. If you are married and sitting next to your husband…elbowing him is not allowed at any point in the message…nor is looking at him with really big “I told you so” eyes!!!
#3 – If you are a single woman…I will be describing the type of man that you should establish as your BARE MINIMUM for dating and marriage. I know that’s a big statement…but just come and see…
#4 – If you are a man who is not coming because you are scared…dude…get over it. (By the way…I will be speaking about why men RUN from challenges!) I actually had a dude tell me he was going to miss this Sunday because he knew what I was going to say!!! WIMP!
#5 – Next Sunday will be a sermon specifically addressing the women…and if you are a dude…you need to be here!!!
#6 – What I have discovered is this–ladies DESIRE to be challenged…and men don’t want to be…uh, that’s a problem!!! (Maybe that’s why of the Christians in America…around 60% are women and 40% are men!)
#7 – We will be completing the series on Thanksgiving weekend with one of the most practical messages you have EVER heard on marriage…EVER…and that’s all that is being said for now!!!!
#8 – Don’t forget to invite someone this weekend…and get here early!!!!
