Where’s Lucretia? March 9, 2006

My office has had a call or two over the past month asking where my wife, Lucretia, is practicing medicine…or IF she has left the medical field all together with the intensions of us starting a family.

Lucretia ceased practicing with her previous place of employment in November; however, she is now practicing again and absolutely loves her job.

For those who may be interested…here is some more information…

She is still doing primary care/family medicine work. However, she will only be seeing female’s who are 12 years old and up.

Why? Because she has joined Anderson GYN-OB. (Just in case you are wondering…that would be a place where females would go!!!) They decided to hire Lucretia so that they could better serve the females who were coming into their practice and did not have a family practice doctor.

So–once again…Lucretia IS practicing medicine…she IS doing family practice…but she’s only seeing women who are 12 years of age and older.
